Tofu masala from Mehfil for lunch with Dayo and Chris. Wow, it was really excellentt -- the best meal of the day. It had a nice smooth and spicey flavor with a really excellent garam masala taste. Dinner with Michael at Roadside BBQ. I'm a little disappointed because the ribs weren't as tender as they have been or should be. I don't know if it was just a bad day or if they're just becoming an average restaurant. I'll give it a little bit of time and try again.
Vanilla ice cream and thin mints (yay! for Girl Scout cookie season!) for dessert. The vanilla turned out pretty well. I'm happy with it. I think I messed up a little, though, because I dumped the liquid into the frozen ice cream maker container before I started it turning, so part of the liquid froze right away. Now I know.
