            <description>    &lt;p&gt;A pretty good curry chicken pho from the 7 Mission restaurant (7th and Mission) for lunch.&amp;#160; I&amp;#39;m happy I discovered this place, even though it&amp;#39;s a little far from work, because the only other good pho place in the area I know of is closed (along with the rest of the International Food Court.)&amp;#160; Mustard green soup at home for dinner.&amp;#160; A heck of a lot of it. &lt;/p&gt;    &lt;p style=&quot;clear:both;&quot;&gt;

            <description>    &lt;p&gt;Average pho for lunch.&amp;#160; The last of the leftover dumplings for dinner.&amp;#160; At the end, I started to pinch the dumplings in a different way.&amp;#160; Instead of a usual crescent (usual for my family, I guess), I pinched it going up on one side and down on the other, so it made a &amp;#39;S&amp;#39;-shape.&amp;#160; Midnight ribs for the second course (midnight because I didn&amp;#39;t get home until well after nine and they take about two-and-a-half hours in the oven.)&amp;#160; But this time I used a decanter to separate the braising liquid from the fat and was able to make a nice little reduction from it.&amp;#160; I also just turned up the gas and blasted the heck out of it, so maybe that was the difference. &lt;/p&gt;    &lt;p style=&quot;clear:both;&quot;&gt;

 &lt;div&gt;Pho tai (rare beef) for lunch from the pho place at the International Food Court with Jeremy, Dayo, Sean, and Emily.&amp;#160; The pho was okay.&amp;#160; Average.&amp;#160; It wasn&amp;#39;t nearly as good as the curry beef noodles I had there before.&amp;#160; I have to admit that I&amp;#39;m a little disappointed.&amp;#160; Spaghetti with salmon and capers for dinner.&amp;#160; I made a sort of cheesy (mozzarella and Monterey Jack) B&amp;amp;eacute;chamel sauce that turned out all right.&amp;#160; Unfortunately the salmon came from a can, and it was the weakest link.&amp;#160; It&amp;#39;s kind of dumb, I was a Trader Joe&amp;#39;s tonight and I could have picked up something from there.&amp;#160; Still, I&amp;#39;ll rate it above average.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&amp;#39;ll go to Trader Joe&amp;#39;s again tomorrow to see if they have any anchovies.&amp;#160; They didn&amp;#39;t have any tonight.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;    &lt;p style=&quot;clear:both;&quot;&gt;

 &lt;div&gt;A pretty good curry beef stew noodle soup at Sai&amp;#39;s with Seth for lunch.&amp;#160; The beef was excellent, the noodles were good, the veggies were nice and tender, but the broth didn&amp;#39;t have the pop I was looking for.&amp;#160; It was a little bland, so was a little disappointing.&amp;#160; The curry beef noodles at the pho place in the International Food Court has a better broth, but no as good beef.&amp;#160; No picture.&amp;#160; I left my camera in the office.&amp;#160; Too bad, because it was a really pretty bowl.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Leftover Peking Noodles and a pizza for dinner at home.&amp;#160; The pizza was spam and ham, which sounds like it would be excellent, but it really wasn&amp;#39;t.&amp;#160; Again, I love my crust, but the spam was simply unworthy of it.&amp;#160; Now I like spam, but in this context, it just tasted like a mediocre frozen pizza topping.&amp;#160; Well, it was worth a shot, but it&amp;#39;s probably an experiment I don&amp;#39;t need to try again.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;    &lt;p style=&quot;clear:both;&quot;&gt;
